All Advantage Memberships require recurring billing, meaning a card has to be tokenized to pull the customer's fee when it is due. If a customer tries to use a debit card to pay for their membership, you may get the message "Error tokening."
This is because transactions can be run as debit transactions or credit transactions and debit transactions don't support tokenization. Luckily, you don't have to process debit cards this way. If you want to use a debit card for recurring billing, run the transaction as a credit transaction when you are prompted to choose.

Why doesn't the system just assume it's a credit transaction if you're tokenizing the card?
