Advantage Membership Programs can be configured to require users to accept an agreement before enrolling. When enabled, this agreement will display online and can be set to appear on a POS screen, which is useful for portable stations like the CenterEdge Hybrid Tablet, those with a swivel base such as the Razor All-In-One POS, and/or those with a customer facing display. Agreements are configured to display on a per station basis.
Add a Membership Agreement
Membership Programs have an Edit Agreement button by default when they are created, but they are initially blank. If content is added to an agreement, it becomes a requirement for the membership.
- From Admin Portal, click Memberships.
- Expand an existing Program or click to create a new one.
- Click Edit Agreement.
- Enter the text of your agreement including any checkboxes or Tokens to represent dynamic information about the signee, location, or membership.
- Click Save.
- An agreement will now be required for any sale to proceed and will display automatically for any Membership Programs of this type purchased online.
Configure POS Agreement Display Settings
Whether or not to display a membership agreement at a POS must be configured per each station. A membership with an agreement requirement being sold at a station that is not configured to display it will prompt the cashier to acknowledge that an agreement was accepted in some other way.
- From Manager Console, click Maintenance.
- Double-click System Settings.
- Double-click Stations.
- Select the station you want to configure from the Choose A Station field.
- Open the Hardware tab.
- Click Edit.
- Select Yes to Display Membership Agreement.
There must be a mouse or a touch screen available for the guest to accept the agreement. - Choose a Customer Facing Screen option.
- Select Primary Monitor to have the agreement display on the main POS screen, which is useful for stations that can be rotated or moved to face the customer.
- Select Second Monitor to have the agreement display on a separate, customer facing display.
- Select Primary Monitor to have the agreement display on the main POS screen, which is useful for stations that can be rotated or moved to face the customer.
- Click OK.
- Configure any additional stations to display membership agreements as necessary.
