Advantage and Advantage Web have customizable gender options for waivers and both can be adjusted independently. On either platform, gender can be required, not shown as an option at all, or visible, but not required.
Advantage
- From Manager Console, click Customers.
- Double-click Customer Options.
- Open the Waiver tab.
- To require a gender to be selected at a waiver kiosk, select the Require Gender check box.
- To show the field for gender on a waiver kiosk, but not make it required, select the Show Gender check box and deselect Require Gender.
- To hide the field completely, deselect Show Gender.
- If Show Gender is not selected, the Require Gender field will be disabled and a gender will not be required, even if the box still appears to be selected.
- Advantage provides three possible gender groups for customers: Male, Female, and Not Provided.
- If Show Gender is not selected, the Require Gender field will be disabled and a gender will not be required, even if the box still appears to be selected.
Advantage Web
- From an administrator account, click the small gear icon.
- Click System Settings.
- Click Options.
- Click Waivers.
- Click Requirements.
- From the Gender field, choose one of the four options:
- Default pulls the gender options you selected in Advantage and applies them to the web.
- None means gender is not required and the field won't display.
- Show means gender options will be visible, but users will not be required to make a selection.
- Required means gender options will be visible and the user will be unable to submit without making a selection.
- Click Save.
